3rd EDITION GOLDEN ARTS CONTEST (2023)

 

1.- GOLDEN ARTS CONTEST

The 3rd International Music Competition GOLDEN ARTS CONTEST is open to contestants of all nationalities and countries up to 25 years old.

 

2.  CATEGORIES

​

There are 4 different categories with a maximum amount of time on each one:

  • Category D: up to 10 years and up to 8 minutes

  • Category C: 11 to 15 years and up to 12 minutes

  • Category B: 16 to 20 years and up to 16 minutes 

  • Category A: 21 to 25 years and up to 20 minutes

 

The age will be considered off by the closing day date of the registration period, and the duration of the performance will be considered only from the beginning of the first note to the end of the performance. In case of chamber music, the age to be considered will be the medium average age of all group.

 

3. REPERTOIRE

 

In the application form you will be required to indicate all technical data from your piece: work title, composer, period of creation and duration. Duration time should fit to its category as is indicated on 2nd article about Categories.

4. VIDEO LINK

​

Video recordings must be available on online platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo or similar. They must be made exclusively by applicants. Consequently, it is totally forbidden to edit or add effects, being the reason for suspension. It is the participant's duty to ensure a good quality of recording so that the jury can have quality tools in their qualification. The videos must be recorded, at most, one year before the registration deadline.

Take care about your video settings on platform. Make sure your videos links are public or hidden only for people who know the link. For checking this on Youtube platform for example, you should go to settings: Video Manager → Videos → Basic information → From the drop down menu, choose "Public" or "Hidden".  This settings should never be in "Private" mode.

 

5. DATES AND INSCRIPTION

 

All participants are required to complete the following form by clicking here before the registration deadline, which is Sunday, December 17th, 2023, at 24:00 (Madrid GMT+1). In the provided form, applicants must attach proof of a €30 donation as the registration fee, along with the PayPal Transaction ID. The jury will meticulously evaluate the submissions of all participants who have correctly submitted their entries through the form and will announce the results before December 31st, 2023.

Registration is currently open for all Categories, starting from September 1st, 2023. We encourage you to mark the deadlines on your calendar to ensure you don't miss any categories you wish to participate in.

 

6. AWARDS

​

There will be a total of 4 awards: each one for each Category A, B, C, and D. Each award consists of a prestigious Golden Arts Diploma. The names of the winners will be prominently displayed on our official website, www.goldenartscontest.com.

​

In addition to the category-based awards, there will be a unique and special prize, the GOLDEN ARTIST PRIZE, presented to the most exceptionally talented participant within each category. This prize, in the form of a Diploma, is an individual recognition of extraordinary achievement and cannot be shared or divided among multiple participants.

 

9. CONDITION TERMS

           

Who participates on this contest accept all this rules and do not have the right to raise objections against the jury's decision.
